Activities

The local groups we attend weekly are:

  • Topsy Tumbles – Indoor soft play, ride-on’s and a bouncy castle. A great opportunity to socialise, burn off some energy and encourage physical development.
  • Under 5’s Story Time at the library – Stories, songs and rhymes with a librarian. A great opportunity to practice listening and speech development.
  • Forest School Activities – Activities in a woodland environment that cover many areas of learning as well as promoting self-esteem and confidence.

We often go on outings to places such as Stockley Farm and Chester Zoo (to name a few!). We aim to include the cost of these these outings in the fees, but occasionally there may be an additional charge. You will be notified and we will obtain your permission well in advance.

All the activities we provide are suitable for the child’s age and stage of development.

The activities listed below are just a selection and if you wish your child to do a specific activity, for example, making a birthday card for Grandma, we will be more than willing to co-operate.

Activities include:

Blowing bubbles
Singing and creating sounds with musical instruments
Story time
Jigsaw puzzles
Painting
Colouring
Junk modeling
Supervised baking/cooking
Role play
Outdoor play
Feeding the ducks
Going to the shops
Playing in the park

Dolls
and lots lots more!
